Fire emergencies are unpredictable and can cause serious damage to lives, property, and the environment.

It is essential to have a well-trained and prepared fire emergency response team that can act swiftly and effectively in case of a fire incident.
This training course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and competencies to become a competent fire emergency responder.

Objectives

By the end of this training course, participants will be able to:
• Understand the principles and practices of fire prevention and protection.
• Identify the types and causes of fire and the methods of fire extinguishment.
• Recognize the hazards and risks associated with fire and the measures to reduce them.
• Perform basic firefighting techniques using portable fire extinguishers and hose reels
• Apply first aid and rescue techniques to fire victims.
• Communicate effectively with other fire emergency responders and authorities.
• Implement fire emergency plans and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and standards.

Who Should Attend?

This training course is designed for anyone who is interested in becoming a fire emergency responder or enhancing their existing fire emergency response skills.
It is suitable for:
• Employees who are assigned as fire wardens or fire marshals in their workplaces
• Members of volunteer fire brigades or community fire units
